We are the Product Systems Quality Home, and we are looking for a highly motivated, energetic, and experienced QA engineer with a passion for consumer electronics and technologies like HDMI, Audio/Video, Siri, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. You'll enjoy working on a team of diverse-minded Systems QA engineers as we take on new problems and help refine brand-new technologies for a simple and elegant user experience. You'll partner closely with the hardware teams as we develop the next generation of devices that seem almost magical. You'll also work with software engineering on planning for the new set of features that will take Apple Home Products to the next level. You will be proud of your work through every step of the development cycle and will help make Apple Home Products more flexible, reliable, and easy to use. Description

We validate new hardware and software features at the system level (the whole, integrated product). You will:

  1. Design, document, and execute integrated-system tests (including functional, stress, and interoperability).
  2. Own a functional area and represent its quality independently to other QA teams, developers, and project managers.
  3. Report status on tests, projects, and innovation regularly.
  4. Build automation tools to improve testing abilities.
  5. Be a vocal proponent for quality, both internally and externally.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Good understanding of QA methodologies, such as test planning, scheduling, and regression.
  • Experience working with partners across different teams and organizations to clearly communicate status and raise critical issues.
  • Ability to think analytically, reduce data sets, problem-solve, and innovate.

Preferred Qualifications

  • BS in CS/CE/EE or equivalent experience.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $117,800 and $177,900, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
