Job Information

The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Florida International University is seeking adjunct instructors to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in their programs. Positions are available for subjects related to the following areas, and vary depending on the academic semester:

• Structural Engineering
• Transportation and Traffic Engineering
• Engineering labs
• Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
• Engineering Drawing (Autocad)
• Surveying
• Environmental Engineering
• Water Resources Engineering
• Construction Engineering Management

Adjunct faculty must teach courses in accordance with policies in the faculty handbook, attend faculty orientation, and use the university Learning Management System.

This is a temporary, non-benefit earning position.

Primary Instructor:

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or a related field

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or a related field
