Backed by top investors: including the Games team at a16z, the former CEO of Take Two Interactive, and more, this start-up is the place to be if you want to grow with an exciting bunch of people.
The founders are researchers and gamers at heart — they were previously early engineers at Tools for Humanity (Worldcoin) where they built, deployed, and scaled systems from zero to millions of users. They've spent time working on cutting edge technical problems at Microsoft Research, Wolfram Research, and Scale AI.
Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Design Engineer to join our early team.
It would be great if you could come work together with us on site in Palo Alto, but for particularly experienced candidates who are used to working remotely, we would still love to hear from you.
This team mate will help craft the product, work closely with the founders, and have maximal freedom and autonomy to push the product towards the highest levels of quality.
This is a full time, W-2 role with responsibilities including:
- Contribute to design and help shape product direction
- Ideate and prototype ideas for new features
- Create high-fidelity visuals for your features and help us pioneer an experiment driven design culture
- Take concepts from sketches, prototypes to production (alright if you're not comfortable with backend, infrastructure as long as you're eager to learn, collaborate and move fast)
- 4+ years of experience in frontend engineering and UX at startups - especially companies with a reputation for good design
- Strong portfolio of work demonstrating knowledge of frontend frameworks and ability to create engaging and cutting-edge frontend experiences
- Experience and great taste in UI/UX and interest in human-centered design
Nice-to-haves:
- Prior experience working on consumer social products
- TypeScript/JavaScript and React native are the current FE stack, would be great to have someone comfortable in these, but also not wedded to current stack
