Role and Responsibility

• Hands on experience in working with industry known ETL tools e.g. Informatica, Talend, Kettle etc (Talend Preferred).
• Should be able to independently analyze and resolve production support issues within established Service Levels.
• Team player - clearly communicates commitments, issues, completion dates, and status with the requestor and with management.
• Preferred experience: 5 - 7 years.

Demonstrated Experience

• Exposure to using automated scripts for some of the processes involved in data extraction and loading.
• Should have completed at least 3 implementations of ETL solutions for reputed clients.
• Should be process-oriented and able to define processes and documents.
• Should have strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts.
• Should have exposure to handling large volumes of data extraction and data loading in VLDB environments.
• Exposure to handling data from various sources (Flat files, Excel, Access, Databases, etc.).
• Hands-on experience in data cleansing, data auditing, data standardization/manipulation, and data validation.
• Should possess strong analytical and SQL skills.
