Reporting to the Sr. Director, Brand Design, the Senior Designer, Digital & Web will create inspiring and engaging digital touchpoints that bring the Databricks brand to life online.

We are looking for a hands-on designer who excels and has a track record in creating innovative, scalable digital experiences and who is skilled in web and digital design best practices. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment that values forward-thinking design and creativity.

The impact you will have:

• Design and maintain digital design systems, templates, grid structures, and layout principles that align with the Databricks brand language across web platforms.
• Deliver engaging and user-friendly digital experiences , including websites, landing pages, emails, and online campaigns.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, web) to ensure cohesive brand execution across all digital touchpoints.
• Maintain and evolve the Databricks digital presence , ensuring it delivers on our design and brand attributes and remains fresh, modern, and relevant across all platforms.
• Translate business goals into compelling digital design solutions that are optimized for performance, accessibility, innovation, and SEO.
• Continually innovate and introduce fresh approaches to enhance the user experience and visual impact of Databricks' digital assets.

What we look for:

• 6-10 years of digital and web design experience , with a strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in designing for web, email, social media, and other digital platforms.
• Expertise in digital design fundamentals , including typography, color theory, grid systems, and layout principles.
• Proven experience in designing and maintaining scalable design systems that work across multiple digital platforms.
• Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and ability to apply them effectively in web and mobile design.
• Hands-on knowledge of web development principles , processes, and boundaries, with the ability to create design assets that developers can efficiently execute.
• Proficiency in design tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or similar tools plus the willingness and ability to adopt new tools as required.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and basic web development concepts (coding is not required, but an understanding of what is feasible and effective is essential).
• Strong communication skills , including the ability to present and discuss your design rationale with stakeholders and team members in person or remotely.
• Ability to work quickly through multiple iterations , while maintaining attention to detail and ensuring design solutions align with business goals and functional requirements.
• Experience working in collaborative environments , with remote teams or in-person, and adapting to new tools and processes as needed.
