Senior iOS Consultant

Infosys is seeking a Senior iOS Consultant. As a Senior Consultant, you will be a key player in the consulting team that helps discover and define the problem statement, evaluates the solution options, and makes recommendations. You will create detailed design, architecture, and process artifacts and implement the deployment plan. You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 7 years of Relevant Information Technology experience.
• A highly experienced iOS developer with over 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.

Location for this position is Richardson, TX or Atlanta, GA or Reston, VA or Kansas City, KS or Phoenix, AZ or be willing to relocate to the area of work location. This position may require travel.

• A strong background in building scalable and user-friendly iOS applications using Swift UI.
• Candidate should be comfortable with MVVM and VIPER architecture.
• Design and build applications for the iOS platform and manage >4 apps on the App Store.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
• Knowledge of Memory Management, Concurrency programming in iOS.
• Proficient in Objective-C, Swift, and Cocoa Touch.
• Extensive experience with iOS Frameworks such as Core Data and Core Animation.
• Knowledge of iOS back-end services.
• Knowledge of Apple’s design principles and application interface guidelines.
• Proficient in code versioning tools including Mercurial, Git, and SVN.
• Familiarity with push notifications, APIs, and cloud messaging.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
