Aerospace TIG Welder

Job Description:

• TIG weld titanium castings for the aerospace industry.
• Utilize tools such as calipers and profile templates to accurately repair castings.
• Work with team on rework plans to ensure castings meet specifications.
• Operate grinding equipment to shape tungsten.
• Load and unload castings from welding chamber.
• Maintain clean and orderly work area.
• Complete other assigned duties.

Qualifications:

• Prior TIG welding experience or completion of a formal vocation program preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with or without accommodations.
• Basic math skills and ability to use measurement tools.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Good attendance record and willingness to undergo pre-employment screenings.

Work Environment and Schedule:

• Reasonably good working conditions with some exposure to noise, temperature, and machinery.
• Swing Shift: Monday-Thursday with shift differentials.
• Relocation assistance may be available to qualified candidates.
