As a Software Development Manager at Cisive, you will play a pivotal role in leading our software development team. This position is more than just managing projects; it's about inspiring a team to achieve excellence in creating reliable and impactful software solutions. Essential Job Duties:
- Produce great, high-quality software that meets business requirements and goals
- Provide great leadership to a team of like-minded software developers, business analysts and quality assurance analysts
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to the members of team, including the architecture and design of cloud solutions
- Anticipate potential problems and identify solutions
- Leverage strong written and oral communication skills to work collaboratively with business stakeholders
- Leverage scrum to anticipate project outcomes and timelines
Required Skills:
- 10+ years of software development experience
- At least 2 years in a demonstrated leadership role
- BS or BA in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- Experience designing, developing, and implementing n-tier web applications using .NET Framework or Core, Java or similar object-oriented development languages
- Experience with database development, especially SQL Server
- Experience with Jira, GitHub, Azure DevOps, Confluence or similar toolsets
- Experience with Angular, React, Vue or similar web presentation frameworks.
- Experience working in a scrum environment, or other agile frameworks
