Amentum is now hiring for a Logistics Engineer (All Levels) – CSIA positions in support of the Cyber Security & Information Assurance (CSIA) Support Services office at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD and Ft Belvoir, VA. This project will provide the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM), Command, Control, Computers, Communications, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Research (C5ISR) Center services to include programmatic/business management services, engineering support services, field engineering, laboratory, logistics, and acquisition / administrative support services to augment CSIA core Government personnel and turn-key solutions to support the missions of CSIA and its associated Managers and customers. This support will be conducted in close coordination with Government project leads within CSIA.

The candidate will work closely with the client to perform the following:
Assures that consumer goods and services are being distributed in a way that is most efficient and profitable, applying scientific and mathematical principles to process the distribution of consumer goods and services.
Provides logistics technology for effective and efficient support of products, equipment, system manufacturing, or services.
Reviews contractual commitments, customer specifications, or related information to determine logistics or support requirements, such as facility details, staffing needs, and safety or maintenance plans.
Designs and analyzes the logistics processes and operational solutions used in distributing those goods and services; identifies and evaluates the effectiveness of all aspects of methods of distribution with the goal of improving operational efficiency, which would result in higher profits for the company; advises management on logistics topics; and proposes logistics solutions.
Develops the most streamlined, efficient method of product distribution possible.
Assesses the environmental impact or energy efficiency of logistics activities, evaluates logistics methods to reduce environmental impact, analyzes environmental regulations, and determines requirements to ensure organizational compliance.
Handles inventory, processes orders, plans warehouse layouts, and helps design product packaging to maximize shipping efficiency.
May direct the work of Logistics Analysts
Translates user requirements and design data into hardware, software, and performance criteria and life cycle support methodologies.
Performs system, equipment and software functional and performance analyses, and defines engineering support functions.
Ensures quality throughout the project life cycle.
Establishes systems and equipment logistic support requirements, including standards for acceptance, functional adequacy, adherence to the design criteria and to applicable maintenance standards.
Conducts reviews of program documentation to assure compliance with standards and requirements and adherence to program goals.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree engineering, or a related scientific or technical discipline is required.
1-10+ years’ experience.
8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education.
Must have an Active TOP SECRET US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a TOP SECRET Clearance.
Compensation:
HIRING SALARY RANGE: $65,000 - $225,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.).
