This role offers a hybrid work option, meaning you can both work from home and commute to a LinkedIn office, depending on what’s best for you and when it is important for your team to be together.We are seeking a Director to lead LinkedIn's Field Commercial team which is the core team that owns the platform and infrastructure responsible for enabling LinkedIn to process north of $15 billion in annual revenue. They will lead our configure-price-quote engine for LinkedIn’s Field and Online businesses, which sits at the intersection of large scale infrastructure, platform, and end user experiences. This leader will help us enable omnichannel sales motions for LinkedIn’s growing business lines, architecting new commercial models that evolve from per seat to a value based offering as we bring agentic products to life. They will be responsible for innovating how we price, package, and sell enterprise products with insights on utilization and renewals.ResponsibilitiesYou will build and ship software, drive architectural decisions and implementation across teams.You will drive the adoption of cutting-edge solutions and methods to enable innovative developer focused tools and applications.You will actively improve the level of craftsmanship at LinkedIn by developing best practices and defining best strategies.You will lead cross team/cross-functional discussions and drive alignment on technology strategy.You will define the bar for quality and efficiency of software systems while balancing business impact, operational impact and cost benefits of design and architectural choices.You will act as one of the primary domain experts to influence technology choices.You will lead by example to build a culture of craftsmanship and innovation.You will build and ship software, drive architectural decisions and implementation across our Go-To-Market and Finance teams.Basic Qualifications10+ years of work experience in a technical field5+ years of experience in management positionsBachelor's degree in a quantitative or technology related field, or equivalent work experience.Preferred QualificationsExperience managing multi-layered teams.Ability to lead by example and inspire the team to perform at a high level, and collaborate very well across different teams.Strong understanding of large-scale engineering systems.Engineering development experience, building products and backend systems, infrastructure services.Background in leveraging LLMs to build products.Highly motivated and able to work with ambiguous fast-changing problem landscapes, convert vague and ill-defined problems into well-defined problems, take initiative and encourage consensus building across partners.Strong leadership abilities in order to communicate and drive cross-functional efforts.Strong background in AI/ML techniques with applications to internet products.Suggested Skills:People ManagementTechnical LeadershipAI domain expertiseLinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.The pay range for this role is $203,000 to $333,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location.
