Job Requirements / Description
Responsibilities:
- Research, design, maintain, operate, and regulate nuclear reactors and power plants
- Provide technical oversight for the Navy's nuclear-powered ships
- Manage projects ranging from reactor design to fleet operations

- Nuclear Propulsion Officer Candidate (NUPOC) program available for current undergraduate students

- Various service colleges and Navy College Program for further education
Qualifications and Requirements:
- U.S. citizen between the ages of 19 and 29
- Graduate or current student pursuing a B.A., B.S., or M.S. in technical areas
- Completed one academic year of calculus and calculus-based physics
Work Environment:
Naval Reactors Headquarters at the Navy Yard in Washington, D.C.
