Senior NodeJS Developer

Minimum Qualifications:

• 7+ years equivalent work experience in software development on small to large sized projects with diverse teams.
• Conflict resolution, debugging, triaging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving techniques required.
• Good presentation, facilitation, communication, and negotiation skills required.
• Proven hands-on experience as a software engineer with expertise in one or more technologies including NodeJS, TypeScript, JavaScript, and ExpressJS. Experience with Mocha, CouchDB, Redis, Kafka, Docker, and Kubernetes is a plus.
• Expertise with REST, Node.JS, NoSQL, SQL, eventing patterns, and microservices.
• Experience leading enterprise engineering projects or teams is a plus. Self-starter with the ability to manage a broad workload and adapt to change while delivering results.
• Proven ability to be a technical lead, assist in the technical growth of other team members, and operate as the technical expert for multiple applications.
• Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to articulate technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
• Adaptability—fast learner with a willingness to build solutions using unfamiliar tools.
• Empathy—the ability to understand customer challenges and the drive to resolve them.
• Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality technical documentation.
• Strong customer relationship skills with a focus on problem resolution and productivity improvements.
• Experience with large scale enterprise system development and integration.
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, and Scaled Agile Framework is a plus.
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
