Whirlpool prides itself on selecting great talent with the necessary leadership requirements and qualifications to achieve greatness.Your responsibilities will includeExpert CMM programmer level with ability to develop and write CMM programs using PC.DMIS for PPAP, FPP, Engineering Projects, CPM, WPS, and OPEX projectsCreate CMM programs for all new parts and update old programs as new requirements are identified (whole part layout to be provided along with the agreed to short program for critical measurementsCreate programs for all new parts and update old programs as new requirements are identifiedEnsure all CMM machines are calibrated and all tips and tools are calibrated quarterly and machine certification is up to dateMaintain database of fabricated part measurements including Cp and Cpk; insure linkage between PC-Demis and QC-CALC are maintainedMinimum requirementsTwo year Associate's Degree or Technical Certificate with at least five years CMM programming experienceProficient use of Google Tools, MS Excel/Word, Creo, Autocad, this includes data entty and analysis (charts, graphs, etc)Expert in the use of PC DMIS software; must have completed all levels of programming trainingMust be able to communicate and receive communications regarding safety components and job instructionPreferred skills and experiencesEffectively communicate to all levels of the organizationDemonstrates Leadership AttributesGood decision making and judgment skillsFamiliarity with OPEX (Six Sigma) methods or WPSExpert Technical understanding of CMM equipment operation and programming for measurement arms, laser, scanners, probing, and robotic systemsFamiliar with Polyworks, and other laser scanning softwareExpert in the use of Creo2 Paramatic to look up 3D modelsProficient in GD&TConnect with us and learn more about Whirlpool CorporationSee what it's like to work at Whirlpool by visiting Whirlpool Careers ( .
