Overview
The Web Developer plays a crucial role in designing, coding, and maintaining websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, and other web development languages. You will utilize your technical skills to create visually appealing and functional WordPress websites that align with the brand's identity. As a Web Developer, you will handle updates to the events calendar, assist with content additions/updates and edits, and collaborate with the content production team on the release and promotion of new content.
How You'll Make An Impact
- Design and develop visually appealing and functional websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web technologies by writing well designed, testable, and efficient code.
- Create responsive web designs that are compatible with various devices and browsers.
- Collaborate with graphic designers to ensure the website's visual elements align with the brand's identity.
- Handle updates to the events calendar and assist with content additions/updates and edits.
- Assist in coordinating content deployment to cultivate the brand's presence in the community.
- Assist in developing and managing the web strategy and presence.
- Monitor data trends on digital channels to identify new awareness-driving opportunities and strategies.
- Collaborate with the content production team on the release and promotion of new content.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website-related issues, such as broken links or rendering problems.
About You
Education, Training, and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a Web Developer in WordPress, with expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, and other web development languages and frameworks.
- Strong understanding of responsive web design principles and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication and time management skills.
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) is a plus.
- Portfolio of previous web development projects is a plus.
Desired
- Strong analytical skills with knowledge and experience with analytics tools, including Google Analytics 4.
- Data Management: Proficiency in data management and segmentation is important for creating targeted and personalized marketing campaigns. Understanding how to leverage data extensions, data filters, and SQL queries within Marketing Cloud.
- Experience in Astro and Tailwind CSS.
- High level of attention to detail and commitment to excellence.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, managing projects independently and meeting deadlines.
