Systems Engineer

Our client, USAA is looking for an AWS DevOps resource. This person needs to have come from more of a dev background vs infra.
The manager's notes are below. This is the only job description we have at the moment but we know it is an immediate need.

Client: USAA
Contract: Can extend to 2 years or be converted to fulltime
Location: REMOTE but client would prefer this person to be local to their Plano, TX HQ for occasional onsite needs

• They need someone who can come in at a program level role and help write features and take over feature writing at the program level
• Need someone with Talon (containerization, API, Spring, AWS - lambda)
• Their Database is currently on Arora
• Break down the solutions with the features; someone who is not the biggest coder but can go to the low level all the way up to the high level with coding
• Someone who can help GUIDE in code; someone who still wants to look at merge requests; who isn't afraid of getting into the code
• Team is entirely on AWS so this person needs to be comfortable working with AWS integrations as they move their systems
