Software Development Engineer Lead- C+, Telecom Billing

We are looking for a Software Development Engineer Lead who will:

1. This position is responsible to design, build, deploy, and managing functionalities for our cloud-based SaaS platform Ascendon.
2. You will be playing the role of Software Development Engineer, Lead with the Ascendon Revenue Management (ARM) team.
3. The ARM component is a SaaS based, Billing and Revenue Management system hosted on AWS cloud.
4. The team is also responsible for the ongoing operational aspects of the ARM component in a true DevOps manner.
5. You will be part of a collaborative, motivated global team to build innovative and progressive solutions for CSG's biggest customers.

You will:

1. Understand the business requirements created as features
2. Interact with stakeholders to lead the design/implementation of complex features
3. Implement the feature using the required programming languages with a focus on optimized code and system performance
4. Define the technical vision and strategy for the team
5. Participate in collaborative activities within the team including planning, grooming, DevOps activities, and other ad-hoc team discussions
6. Mentor and guide a team of developers
7. Participate in the recruitment activities
8. Collaborate with peers and stakeholders in a distributed global organization

Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent experience
2. 8+ years of product development experience in a lean or agile environment
3. Solid experience in C++/EPM programming languages, UNIX Development Environment, and Databases like Oracle/Postgres
4. Deep knowledge of software architecture
5. Telecom billing domain knowledge is mandatory
6. Excellent customer support and communication skills
7. Ability to support on-call rotation
8. Independently solve complex problems related to interconnected software components using the available resources
