Salary: $120,000 and up

Position Overview:

As the sole in-house Senior .NET Developer, you will be the backbone of our technical operations, collaborating with third-party developers. This role demands a highly skilled and self-motivated individual comfortable with both front-end and back-end development. You will maintain and enhance existing code and products while developing new features and applications to meet evolving business needs.

Key Responsibilities

1. Maintain and Enhance Existing Systems:
2. Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software.
3. Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
4. Ensure technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
5. New Development:
6. Design and develop new features and applications using .NET framework.
7. Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages.
8. Test and deploy applications and systems.
9. Collaboration and Project Management:
10. Understand ownership needs and devise technical solutions.
11. Manage the entire software development lifecycle from planning to deployment.
12. Collaborate with third-party developers as needed.
13. Continuous Learning and Improvement:
14. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and software development trends.
15. Continuously improve existing software systems for better performance and efficiency.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
2. 7+ years of proven experience in application development with .NET Framework (MVC, Web API, .NET Core, C#, object-oriented design principles, relational database skills using SQL Server, report development using SSRS, and working knowledge of Windows Server and IIS).
3. Experience with code versioning tools, specifically GitHub, and process.
4. Understanding of Agile methodologies.
5. Strong attention to detail, excellent troubleshooting, and communication skills.
6. Strong software design and test methodology knowledge and abilities.
7. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in written forms.
8. Ability to understand and analyze complex problems and break them into small solvable pieces.
9. Ability to learn new tools, frameworks, technologies, and platforms required experience.
