Sr. Full Stack Engineer Sitecore - Kohler Ventures

In your role as Sr. Full Stack Engineer at Kohler Ventures you will:

1. Work directly with the Head of Software, software engineering team, and product teams
2. Design web applications with cloud backend that can scale with the business growth of Kohler Ventures
3. Build the forward-looking vision and lead the effort to understand and drive requirements with hardware/software teams.
4. Coordinate with product development teams to execute rollout/adoption of common libraries, services, and patterns.
5. Measurably improve code normalization across one or more critical code concerns throughout the codebase.

Skills/Requirements

Required Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in a CS/engineering or related technical discipline from a reputed academic institution. Master’s preferred.
2. 7+ years of professional software development experience
3. 5+ years of experience in Sitecore XM Cloud, Sitecore MVC, ASP.NET, MVC, REST
4. Experience on Design, Development, Optimization of Sitecore application
5. With one or more prominent languages such as C#, JavaScript, React
6. PostgreSQL database
7. API Descriptor specifications, such as Protocol Buffers, GraphQL, OpenAPI
8. Experience working in software development and security-focused roles.
9. Demonstrated understanding of web application security
10. Broad interest spanning from early prototyping to shipping finished features.
11. Ability to travel to South Korea 2-4 times per year and work outside normal business hours to collaborate with teams across multiple time zones.

Preferred Qualifications

1. 5+ years of work experience in fullstack development team leveraging AWS Platform to deploy highly reliable and scalable cloud applications
2. Strong technical experience in some of the following areas: (1) Selection and integration of services in the AWS stack; (2) Experience with CI/CD tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and Github Actions and (3) Data streaming architectures and methodologies such as Kafka, Solace
3. Deep experience in systems engineering at scale with regards to testing, reliability, security, and observability
4. Champion for quality in code, processes, and culture
5. Strong ability to communicate complex technical and management information clearly and concisely
6. Positive, can-do attitude with a high degree of ownership and self-motivation to drive change
7. Entrepreneurial experience in a high growth technology focused company or startup
8. Exemplary collaboration skills across teams, geographies, and functions
9. Python, NodeJS

The approved base salary range for this position is $101,100-$155,800. The actual base salary offered to a candidate may be higher than the approved range, depending on a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. This position is subject to Area Salary Differential (Cost of Living Adjustment) that ranges from 24.5%-30% of base salary for the San Francisco Bay area. The approved base salary range including ASD for this position is $131,430-$202,540 depending on location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus and a special project incentive. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision and 401k.
