Full Stack Dotnet Developer - U.S. Citizenship Required

We have an opening for a dot NET Developer who may also perform some limited project management functions on-site in our Norfolk Virginia location. We are targeting 4-8 years of relevant full stack experience with dot NET, C#, MS SQL, and Java Scripts as technical skills. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability to understand and participate in the full lifecycle of code development, implementation and support with an active teamwork and process improvement mentality.

Primary responsibilities for the team include upgrading and maintaining current business functionality, participating in code review/triage for business improvements, and maintaining / improving efficiency for our supported business functions. Multiple ongoing projects focused primarily on internally built applications. Only limited current use of cloud and COTS due to our role as a primary defense contractor for the Navy. This role will help gradually expand our range and ability to serve our internal and external customers.

MUST BE A CURRENT U.S. CITIZEN. Will not consider Green Card, EAD, OPT, etc...

The Software Development Team puts a high priority on teamwork, collaboration, and the willingness to step up and handle any and all facets of the work driven by business needs. The team actively coordinates with the rest of IT and the business so internal communication and collaboration is key. This department engages in multiple simultaneous projects and initiatives.

Previous experience with multiple business functions is a plus and we encourage cross-training on our teams. Relocation assistance is available. This position does not support remote work and candidate will work on-site. Company allows some limited work from home flexibility for doctor appointments, occasional family situations, or business needs; but highly prefer on-site to collaborate with team.

MUST BE A CURRENT U.S. CITIZEN. Strict Drug screen required. We are a U.S. Defense Contractor and although no security clearance or military experience is required, we view it as a positive.

Requirements, Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

4 or more years of Dot NET, C#, MS SQL, Java-Script with some proven project management skills and interests.

Full Stack knowledge of the complete software development life cycle and ability to multi-task and sometimes shift gears to support business needs. Ability to engage with end users and business management to increase usability is a big plus.
