Full Stack Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer to manage and expand a Fortune 50 Health Insurance Client MRM (Media/Records Management) & IDM (Image/Document Management) services. This role focuses on a large-scale document and image storage and processing project, designed to enhance productivity and efficiency across the client by moving from legacy on-prem systems to cloud solutions. The candidate will lead efforts in maintaining and upgrading on-prem systems while onboarding new cloud capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Document & Image Storage: Manage storage, retrieval, and processing of digital assets (JPEG, PDF, etc.), supporting 60+ internal users across the client for claim adjudication, authorization, and provider payments.
• Data Migration: Oversee the migration of hundreds of terabytes of data from IronMountain storage to the client's systems (Nazdrive, Isilon, and Azure).
• System Upgrades: Lead the development and migration efforts of 40+ applications to .NET Core 8, integrating cloud capabilities and server updates.
• Cloud Onboarding: Prepare for increased cloud usage in 2025 by building out and securing cloud environments on Azure, utilizing Terraform and enhancing cloud security.
• Tech Stack: Develop and maintain solutions using C#, .NET Core, Kafka, Terraform, Azure, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, and containerized microservices (Kubernetes).
• Collaboration: Work in an agile environment (2-week sprints) alongside architects, technical leads, and external vendors, ensuring secure and efficient data handling and transferability.
• Integration & Orchestration: Integrate applications and APIs with the internal systems and external vendors, ensuring seamless document management and file conversion.
