Job Details
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced CNC Machinist / Programmer to join our team! This full-time position is an excellent opportunity for someone who has a passion for creating products and wants to make a significant impact on our business. The successful candidate will work with our team to program, set up, and operate computer numerical control (CNC) machines. They will also be responsible for interpreting project blueprints, designing programs, and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
Responsibilities:
As a CNC Machinist / Programmer, you will be tasked with the following responsibilities:
1. Light programming at the machine, setting up, and operating CNC machines.
2. Translating instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function.
3. Preparing and loading raw materials and parts onto the machines.
4. Supervising the machines while they execute the tasks and making any necessary adjustments to produce a better result.
5. Inspecting and measuring finished products to ensure they meet requirements.
6. Reading and interpreting complex blueprints and plans.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years' experience as a CNC Machinist / Programmer.
2. Extensive knowledge of 3-axis and 5-axis CNC machines.
3. Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
5. Strong understanding of the properties of metal and other material.
6. A technical degree or certification in CNC programming, machine tool technology, or a related field is preferred.
