Lead Software Engineer C++

Our client is looking for a Lead Software Engineer to join their options technology team, as a leader of projects that can have a direct impact on the company’s trades capacity. They have various teams across the globe who work towards optimising their world leading trading systems.

Responsibilities :

1. Leading a team that continues to grow.
2. Independently leading large-scale research projects focused on building applications, based on traders’ needs.
3. Tackling complex technical challenges.
4. Collaborating smoothly with the members of the team and providing insight on programming solutions using C++.
5. Work in a high-pressure environment and provide quick solutions.

Requirements & Qualifications:

1. Strong experience as a senior engineer in the industry with a focus on C++.
2. Proven track record of working as a leader of a team and having an impact in their growth.
3. Skills in building and optimising trading systems as well as maintaining high performance and quality standard.
4. Familiarity with market data coming from exchanges and making assessments based on those.
5. Experienced in pricing modelling, mathematical modelling and pricing automation.
6. Understanding of Quantitative Research needs.
7. A solid academic foundation in a STEM discipline with a preference in Engineering.
