Civil Structural Engineer

Company Overview: Russell Tobin is seeking a Civil Structural Engineer for a dynamic client specializing in large-scale structures. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from sports stadiums and healthcare facilities to skyscrapers and more and is based in the Miami/Boca Raton/West Palm Beach area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform structural analysis, design, and detailing for various building types and materials in accordance with building codes.
• Collaborate with in-house staff, architects, and other engineering disciplines to coordinate design work.
• Prepare construction documents using a Building Information Modeling (BIM) environment.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in structural engineering.
• Experience with structural inspections.
• Proficiency in designing with cast-in-place concrete, prestressed concrete, post-tensioned concrete, structural steel, and reinforced masonry.
• Familiarity with RAM, ETABS, and other structural engineering software preferred.
• Working knowledge of Revit Structure preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering.
• Engineer Intern (EI) or Professional Engineer (PE) certification preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Enthusiastic, self-motivated, proactive, and team-oriented.
