We are seeking a highly motivated Systems Engineer III to serve as a senior member of the IT infrastructure team, responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the company's enterprise-level systems. Your role will involve leading complex projects, providing technical expertise, and ensuring that our IT infrastructure supports the growth and operational needs of the business.
*This position is 100% in office and will be based in Irvine, CA.
General Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company's Windows-based and Linux-based server infrastructure across all retail locations, corporate data centers, and branch offices.
• Architect, implement, and maintain the corporate Active Directory (AD) infrastructure, including complex Group Policy Objects (GPOs), multi-site replication, and security hardening.
• Manage the migration of services to Microsoft 365, including Exchange, Azure AD, and other cloud-based solutions, ensuring seamless integration with on-premises systems.
• Oversee the disaster recovery and business continuity planning for the corporate data center and backup data center, ensuring minimal downtime in case of emergencies.
• Provide Tier 3 support for escalated issues from other engineers and IT teams, resolving the most complex system issues.
• Collaborate with IT leadership to develop strategic plans for infrastructure improvements, capacity planning, and technology adoption.
• Research, evaluate, and recommend new technologies to improve system performance, security, and reliability.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for systems architecture, processes, and disaster recovery plans.
• Mentor and lead junior and mid-level engineers, providing technical guidance and fostering professional growth.

Work Schedule + Benefits

• Full-time, Salaried, Exempt
• Pay Range is $140,000 - $160,000 annualized salary
• The above represents the expected pay range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we will consider your experience and other job-related factors.
• Office Hours: Mon-Fri, 8:00 am-5:00 pm

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience in systems engineering, with a focus on enterprise-level infrastructure.
• Expert knowledge of Windows Server environments, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), and Active Directory design and administration.
• Extensive experience with cloud technologies, particularly Microsoft 365 and Azure AD.
• Strong understanding of networking, security best practices, and disaster recovery planning.
• Proven experience leading large-scale IT projects and infrastructure upgrades.
• Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
