Position: Splunk Engineer

Location: 100% Remote

Clearance: Public trust

Position Type: Full-time position

Responsibilities:

1. Troubleshoot CDM data pipeline issues and implement resolutions.
2. Lead knowledge transfer with end users and stakeholders.
3. Perform data analysis for anomalies and trends, build dashboards highlighting key data trends.
4. Deliver deployment and management support for distributed Splunk environments including heavy forwarders, indexers, and search heads.
5. Maintain and edit Splunk configuration files and apps.
6. Support Splunk deployments in Windows and Linux environments.
7. Act as the primary technical point of contact for integration-related activities.

Requirements:

1. 3+ years of Splunk Enterprise hands-on experience (including writing Splunk queries in SPL).
2. 3+ years of experience with Linux OS, services, daemons, containers, and VMs.
3. 2+ years of experience with designing, implementing, configuring, and operating IT systems or security infrastructure.
4. 1+ year of experience with CDM tools and agencies, including the role CDM tools play in government environments.
5. Experience working in large federal agency environments (GSA, HHS, NASA, SSA, Treasury).
6. Experience with data aggregation, SIEM software, and dashboard engineering reporting.
7. Active DHS Public Trust Clearance.
8. Bachelor's degree.
