Software Engineer (API)

Job Description:

The Automation and Integrations senior developer is responsible for the design and implementation of computer software solutions using process automation, integrations, and public cloud services (AWS). Senior (10+) years experience specifically in AWS API Integration with Lambda and Python.

Position Responsibilities:

1. Design and development of applications using Python deployed as AWS Lambda Function
2. Work on systems integrations using APIs and other interfaces
3. Collaborate with IT team and other staff members on company projects and initiatives
4. Perform other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience:

1. Minimum of 10 years experience AWS specifically with API Integration
2. Experience with AWS Services (Rekognition, EC2, Lambda, SQS, API Gateway, S3) is mandatory
3. Experience working with APIs - REST and SOAP
4. Experience with SQL and relational database providers such as MySQL, MSSQL Server, and PostgreSQL
