American Commercial Barge Line (ACBL) is seeking a dynamic and experienced Vessel Reliability Planning Manager to join our team in Paducah, KY. This role will be crucial in ensuring our vessel fleet's optimal performance and efficiency through strategic planning and analysis.

What you will be doing... Your IMPACT

  • Monitor and analyze vessel fleet and performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective measures.
  • Provide strategic planning to support long-term organizational goals and objectives.
  • Manage the monthly vessel fleet and budget report creation process, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with the team to forecast resource requirements and make data-driven decisions for fleet optimization.
  • Develop, implement, and manage budget planning strategies to optimize resource allocation and control costs.
  • Prepare and present regular fleet and budget reports to management, providing insights and recommendations for improving fleet and budget performance.
  • Assist in the development and continuous improvement of the vessel Preventive Maintenance (PM) program.
  • Collaborate with teams and lead continuous improvement initiatives to support cost-saving measures.

Even better if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • 5+ years of proven experience in fleet planning, budgeting, engineering, or a similar role in the maritime industry is preferred.
  • Sound knowledge of maritime regulations, industry trends, and best practices in fleet management is preferred.
