Controls Engineer - Onsite

A company leader in the automation industry is looking for a Controls Engineer to join their team. This is a direct position in Hudson, NH.

Responsibilities of the Controls Engineer:

• Participate in design reviews at all levels; proposal, standards, project, etc
• Analyze customer requirements and participate in proposal development activities
• Manage technical solutions to minimize costs while maintaining reliability
• Coordinate with other departments as necessary to satisfy project requirements
• Work with the broader organization to drive continuous improvement in job process and cost
• Provide industry specific application knowledge and direction
• Develop project requirements and design specifications
• Maintain customer specifications and logging of deviations

Requirements of the Controls Engineer:

• Associate degree and 4 years of robotics, controls, or engineering experience; OR Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and 2 years of robotics, controls, or engineering experience.
• 1 year of experience in automated controls systems and robot applications
• Efficient using 2D AutoCAD to generate control system packages
• Functional electrical maintenance and troubleshooting skills
• Competence in industrial machinery controls design
• PLC/HMI programming experience with an emphasis on Allen Bradley, Rockwell, and Siemens
• Experience with different fieldbus architectures such as DeviceNet, Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Profibus
• Functional experience programming VFD’s and Servo controllers
