Industrial Engineering Intern

Position Overview:

Join our team as an Industrial Engineering Intern, where you’ll collaborate with Production and Quality teams to optimize throughput in various operations. This role provides hands-on experience in identifying capacity constraints and eliminating bottlenecks to enhance plant efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work on projects related to throughput optimization in mixing, conventional, and extruded operations.
• Assist in creating and updating SOP documents and developing training programs for production crews.
• Participate in EHS Hazard and Ergonomic Analysis Audits.
• Analyze throughput, downtime, and changeover times to identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Polymer Science, or Chemistry.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency in Excel for data analysis and chart creation.
