What you’ll be doing:

• Be responsible for keeping Slash’s production environment up and healthy.
• Scale and iterate on our infrastructure as we grow (we’re growing really fast).
• Improve the speed & reliability of our continuous delivery & integration pipeline.
• Own and execute against PCI, SOC 2 and all relevant compliance standards.
• Architect security alerts, controls, code audits in AWS.
• Monitor, track and analyze security events and leverage that information to iterate and improve our systems.
• Write libraries and infrastructure tooling to speed up internal development and complicated workflows.

We’re Looking for Someone Who:

• A subject matter expert in Security DevOps.
• Experience in a regulated industry whereby Compliance Standards are of extreme importance.
• Is looking to take full ownership of their work and make an immediate impact.
• Thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
• Loves writing code and values deep technical knowledge as much as delivering great product experiences.
• Has experience shipping high-quality software products.
• Experience scaling distributed systems to handle high levels of burst traffic.
