Project Engineer

PROJECT ENGINEER - COMMERCIAL CONSTRUCTION

What you can expect in a Project Engineer Role at IBG

• This is a paid, full-time position, and you will report to our office located in El Dorado Hills, California.
• Main components of the job:
  • Collaborate with project managers to develop detailed project plans, subcontractor scopes, and schedules within an integrated team, overseeing all aspects from design to build-out.
  • Oversee quality control and ensure construction work meets design standards and industry regulations.
  • Ensure precise project records, encompassing as-built drawings, change orders, RFI/ASI handling, and comprehensive construction documentation.
  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors, overseeing procurement, scheduling, and change orders.
• You will be working on a wide breadth of project tasks; every day brings something new!

Requirements

• A four-year Bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent work experience
• 3+ years of commercial construction experience
• Professional level working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, MS Project)
• Procore experience is highly desirable
• Strong ethical standards and rock-solid moral compass
• Proactive self-starter who can exercise independent judgment
• Ability to travel 1-2x per month within the Western States
