Senior Programmer

Location: Columbus, OH

Position Overview:
The Senior Programmer will have 7+ years of experience, preferably with a 4-year degree, to lead the development of enterprise solutions using Azure, C#, .NET, and MS SQL. This role involves solutions design, technical planning, coding, testing, and creating technical documentation, while also mentoring junior developers and working across multiple projects as directed by the Application Manager.
Duties:

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of software solutions using Azure, C#, .NET (1.1 to current), ASP.NET, and MS SQL Server.
• Plan, process, and execute all development tasks efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Analyze and design project requirements, create technical specifications, and perform system testing and validation.
• Develop and maintain databases, including creating SQL procedures, functions, tables, and views.
• Use GIT for version control to manage source code and documentation.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including application functionality, test methods, and flow diagrams.
• Perform unit testing and contribute to the quality assurance process.
• Collaborate with peers and mentor junior developers through formal and informal guidance.
• Contribute to technical planning, project design, and recommendations for software reusability.
• Develop reports in HTML and work across multiple projects as directed by the Application Manager.

Required Skills:

• Experience programming languages with the main knowledge skills in Azure, Microsoft C#, .NET Framework 1.1 to current version, ASP.NET languages
• MS SQL Developer
• Experience in Enterprise Data Modeling
• Senior developer responsible for planning, processing and performing all jobs in efficient manner with no supervision
• 4 year College degree
• 7 years of experience with solutions design; project technical planning; analysis and design; Communication; testing and implementation
• 7 years of experience recommending software reusability guidelines
• 7 years of experience planning, conductin formal mentorship activities for peers and/or lower-level staff via verbal instruction or technical documentation
• GIT, Azure, C#, .NET 1.1 to current, ASP, Java Script, knockout, json, API, Active X controls, familiar with other language tools
• Database: Microsoft SQL Server
• Azure, CORE Framework, C#, ASP.NET Web application development, .NET 1.1 to current, SQL2000 to SQL2018, SQL Procedures, Functions, Tables, Views, etc
• Manual QA testing processes
• Diagramming Tools: MS Visio or any flow diagram tools
• Version Control: ODRC uses GIT for version control for source code and documents. Any products ok.
• Testing: Perform System Test and Create Test Documentation
