Title: Lambda Engineer

Duration: 12 month contract to hire

Location: Miami, FL - hybrid 4x week

Job Description : As a Lambda Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our new enterprise contact center platform. This platform will leverage AWS services, including Python, Lambdas, AWS EC2, and AWS Direct Connect, to ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability. We will be migrating Cisco IVR systems onto an AWS Direct Connect chatbot platform to assist customers with their inquiries. We are looking for someone strong with Python and Lambda development who is interested in building out an AWS cloud platform for IVR interactions.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design and implement scalable and secure cloud infrastructure using AWS services.
• Develop and deploy serverless applications using Lambdas and Python.
• Manage and optimize EC2 instances for performance and cost-efficiency.
• Integrate AWS Direct Connect to ensure reliable and secure connectivity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement technical requirements.
• Automate deployment and management processes using infrastructure as code (IaC) tools.
• Monitor and troubleshoot system performance, ensuring high availability and reliability.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services and best practices to continuously improve our platform.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Python and experience with Lambdas.
• Hands-on experience with AWS EC2 and managing cloud infrastructure.
• Familiarity with network architecture.
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
