Aerospace Corporate Development Consultant

Part-time

This is a unique opportunity to join the executive team of an Industrial AI start-up founded by a Stanford professor and led by thought leaders in Industrial AI and aerospace analytics.

Our main product is enterprise AI SaaS for maintenance supply chain in aircraft fleets, built around proprietary AI Engines allowing for easy customer data integration. Our superior technology is preferred over much larger competition by the world’s largest aircraft fleet operator, driven by USAF Supply Chain customers. The AI approach provides an attractive business proposition evidenced by hundreds of millions of dollars in cost avoidance.

We are looking for a Corporate Development Executive who can take our company to the next level in business, partnerships, and potential exit, starting with the development and execution of a Go-To-Market strategy for our product.

After proving their mettle as a part-time Business Development consultant, the ideal candidate will have the opportunity to progress to more lucrative roles that may involve commissions from multimillion-dollar sales and possibly equity in M&A exit.

The consultant is expected to bring an existing network of defense and aerospace business contacts, including customers and partners like NAVAIR, Army aviation, airlines, aircraft MRO service vendors, enterprise IT suppliers, and consultancies working in AI for sustainment.

  1. Strong experience selling enterprise software in the Defense/Airlines/Aviation industry directly and through partnerships/channels.
  2. Proven experience closing deals larger than $1M.
  3. Corporate development job qualifications evidenced by experience.
  4. Experience with AI or Advanced Analytics business.
  5. Solid understanding of and experience selling Enterprise IT applications.
  6. Experience or strong interest in working with a start-up company and sharing its success.
  7. Experience with M&A deals is a plus.
  8. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  9. Ability to travel as needed.

All candidates must be US Citizens.

You will work remotely at your home office with occasional in-person meetings.
