We are looking for talented Software Engineers to join us on the journey to transform healthcare with Clojure. You will help us build platforms and services that enable our physicians and clinicians to provide world-class, innovative care for patients.

Our team is focused on innovative initiatives in the clinical and care management space of the largest healthcare company in the US. That means that the products you build will impact tens of millions of patient lives every year.

We work closely with data science and product teams to provide the fundamental infrastructure enabling their success. Our primary tools in that are Clojure micro-services, Datomic, Kafka and Google Cloud. In this position you will work and grow with a group of talented Clojure developers building high-quality, maintainable, and well-tested code across our platforms. You will advise on architectures, patterns, and strategies for our platforms and take ownership of individual services.

Responsibilities:

  1. Design and develop scalable, dependable, maintainable distributed software
  2. Produce high quality, modular, reusable code that incorporates coding best practices

Minimum Requirements:

  1. 3+ years of experience in a software development role
  2. Experience with cloud development technologies (Google Cloud Platform preferred)
  3. Proficiency with streaming and event-driven architectures
  4. Experience with container-based platforms (Kubernetes, Openshift, etc)
