Flight Control Engineer

We are seeking a Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) Engineer to help shape the technical direction of path planning, motion planning, and flight control algorithms for advanced aircraft systems. This role plays a pivotal part in developing spatial technology aimed at improving aviation safety and accessibility for all.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with Guidance, Navigation, and Control functions, including dynamic trajectory planning and Flight Envelope Protection design.
• Support GNC design specifications, validation, and verification activities.
• Generate documentation for design, analysis, specifications, and test procedures.
• Develop analysis tools and algorithms using Matlab/Simulink.
• Support Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) and flight test activities.
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines such as Perception, Safety, Certification, Systems, and Flight Test teams.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Controls, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering.
• 3+ years of professional working experience.
• Proficiency in Matlab/Simulink.
• Knowledge in programming languages such as C++ and Python.
• Familiarity with Git and JIRA.
• Competence in multivariable system modeling, control, analysis, and simulation in aircraft applications.
