The role involves analyzing users' requirements, operational concepts, and high-level architectures to develop detailed system specifications, leading design and development efforts. This individual provides technical leadership by guiding users in requirement formulation, assessing feasibility, and advising on alternative approaches. They are responsible for the integration of requirements, design, and technology, ensuring the technical integrity of all system engineering deliverables. Additionally, the position involves developing system architecture and design documentation, managing system development and implementation plans, and communicating with program personnel, government officials, and senior executives.RequirementsMust have experience managing system requirements to ensure compatibility with Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) and Service-oriented Architecture (SOA), and capable of contributing to various systems engineering documentsWill be skilled in coordinating the resolution of action items from Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings, design reviews, and test reviews, with the ability to participate in Integrated Product Teams for the design of new capabilities based on comprehensive development and operational considerationsAbility to develop, review, and maintain detailed system engineering documentation, derive detailed lower-level requirements from higher-level allocated requirements, and implement comprehensive security and architecture solutionsHave technical leadership experience in the development, engineering, interfacing, integration, and testing of complex hardware and software systems, managing the technical integrity of system baselines, and supporting Department of Defense certification and accreditation processesFourteen (14) years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is requiredThree (3) years’ experience with VMware architecture, Installation and configuration, facilitating failover with VMotion, implementing rollback capability and VMware template libraryThree (3) years’ experience with Central Remote Management capability, configuration Management, and leveraging VMware’s monitoring capabilityBachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required OR Nineteen (19) years of SE experienceActive TS/SCI Clearance with PolygraphAbout Kaizen ApproachWe love what we do, and that drives us to create the best possible results for our customers.
