About The Team

The Cloud Infrastructure team manages a vm/container-based cluster management system to host DevOps platform, distributed storage services, and edge computing platforms for our iOS and Android applications.

As the software engineer in the Cloud Infra team, you will:

1. Build vm/container-based cluster management to manage our mac/linux/windows servers, with horizontal scalability.
2. Build distributed resources and tasks scheduling framework to host various types of production workloads, covering DevOps platform, distributed build systems, and distributed cache/storage services.
3. Build cluster federation, horizontal scaling, vertical scaling, and co-location solutions to optimize resource utilization.

Qualifications

Required:

1. Minimum 3 years of industry experience in software engineering.
2. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
3. Experience with one or more general programming languages including but not limited to: Golang, Python, C/C++.
4. Experience working with two or more of the following areas: Unix/Linux environments, distributed and parallel systems, networking systems, and developing large scale software systems.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience in large scale resources and tasks scheduling development.
2. Project experience in application scaling, workload co-location, and isolation enhancement.
3. Experience in vm/container runtime and relevant projects.

Job Information:

?For Pay Transparency?Compensation Description (annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $145000 - $250000 annually. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
