Candidate must have at least 3 years of experience from a manufacturing environment as a Controls Engineer. PLC Programming,PLC troubleshooting experience, HMIs required. S7 experience is a plus
Responsibilities
The role of the Sr Controls Engineer is two-fold. First, to be a great team member who demonstrates high levels of honesty, integrity, and ownership in everything they do. The second is to ensure the success of the team by SAFELY performing programming and upgrade tasks on steel mill equipment and systems, as well as proposing and implementing innovative solutions to challenges in the steel making process and business. Safety is the most important part of all jobs; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US, Client will not sponsor the need for a visa now or in the future.

The essential functions of this job include:
