DESCRIPTION and RESPONSIBILITIES
SAS is seeking a full time SAS Senior Quality Assurance developer to work with our SAS Professional Servcies project team.
QUALIFICATIONS - ESSENTIAL
• A minimum of Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Business
Administration, or a related field is required and equivalent work experience required.
• Minimum of 6+ years' experience of SAS\SQL programming experience.

• SAS Viya
• SASStudio
• Skillset:
• SAS Base Programming
• SQL
• Excellent Communication Skills
• Detailed Oriented
• Curious - asks clarifying questions
• Works well on a team, and also works independently with minimal guidance once fully onboarded to a project.
Preference:
• Knowledgeable on ETL processing
• Testing Experience - Test Planning/Test Case Development/Documentation
• SAS 9.4 Base Programmer Certification
• Linux
• Be proficient in Base SAS programming (DATA step ), SQL programming (i.e., use of SQL pass-through or PROC SQL), as well as the SAS Macro language for use in making code more efficient
MAJOR RESPONSIBILTIES/ACTIVITIES:
• Review requirements, design, and testing documentation
• Follows a formal QA process
• Develop test case specifications, conduct tests, document test results, and place test documentation in the appropriate repository
• Verify that software solution conform to specifications
• Document and manage issues and defects
• Track and re-test problems
• Review code and write independent validation code
