GPI seeks motivated and experienced Office Engineers to work on bridge & highway construction projects with the NYSDOT or other local agencies in the Long Island region. Responsibilities: Managing and maintaining all project documentation Reviewing and processing contractor's payment requisitions Preparing and processing change orders and submittals Project closeout and Inter-agency coordination Complete daily work reports and payments for completed work Acts as a liaison between project management, subcontracts, and site engineers to resolve problems Qualifications: 5 years of experience working as an Office Engineer on NYSDOT highway and/or bridge projects NICET III certification is required Occasional extended work hours such as Night Shift /Weekend work availability Knowledge of MURK recordkeeping, including SiteManager and EBO
