WSP is currently initiating a search for a Civil Engineer for our Indianapolis office. Be involved in projects with our Transportation Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client’s objectives and solves their challenges.Duties and Responsibilities:• Assist and support design teams in the execution of projects• Provide technical support in various stages of project, including preliminary design, final design, and contract documentation including cost estimates and specifications• Discuss and propose solutions to technical issues during design• Maintain positive team relationships• Assist and coordinate with key staff across disciplines (i.e. drainage, structures) as requiredMinimum Qualifications:• B.S. in Civil Engineering or closely related field from accredited university• Engineer Intern (EI) Certificate• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word and Excel• Possess strong verbal and written communication skills• Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures• Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policiesPreferred Qualifications• Previous engineering experience• Proficiency in MicroStation and/or AutoCAD
