We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Engineering Manager to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our manufacturing division, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers and ensuring the smooth operation of all our manufacturing processes. This permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your leadership skills and technical expertise in a fast-paced, technologically advanced environment.
Responsibilities:
As an Engineering Manager, your core responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
1. Overseeing the planning and execution of all engineering projects within the manufacturing facility.
2. Developing and managing project schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks.
3. Leading a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative environment, and promoting continual learning and development.
4. Implementing strategies to improve manufacturing processes and procedures, enhancing efficiency and product quality.
5. Coordinating with other departments to ensure alignment with overall company goals and objectives.
6. Managing resources effectively, including personnel, materials, and budgets.
7. Ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety procedures.
8. Conducting performance reviews, providing feedback, and identifying training needs within your team.
9. Troubleshooting issues, implementing solutions, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Engineering Manager position will possess the following:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field is required. A Master’s degree or Professional Engineer (PE) certification is a plus.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in an engineering management role within the manufacturing industry.
3. Demonstrated leadership skills, with a proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
4. Strong project management skills, with a track record of managing complex projects from conception to completion.
5. Exceptional planning and scheduling skills, with an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
6. In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, industry standards, and safety regulations.
7. Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
8. Strong communication skills, with an ability to liaise effectively with team members, stakeholders, and senior management.
9. Proficiency in using project management software and other relevant engineering tools.
