JOB SUMMARY FOR ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN:

• We are seeking a self-motivated individual to join our team at an automotive test center in Stanfield, AZ. This role involves testing and validating the future of driving by supporting our Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) test team. The ADAS and Test Support Technician will work collaboratively with a team to perform ADAS system performance testing on various vehicles. Responsibilities include test and instrumentation preparation, on-track testing, data collection, data analysis, reporting, and quality checks. The technician will also support system improvement, countermeasure development, and process enhancement.

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN:

• Test Vehicle Preparation and Execution: Ballast and align vehicles; update vehicle hardware and software systems as needed; install data acquisition equipment; collect vehicle test data via multiple data acquisition systems; perform tests consistently and accurately to produce high-quality data.
• IT Support: Support equipment operation and configuration, tool creation, and software-related development of the test environment.
• Driving Support: Participate in proving ground and public road driving events led by engineering staff to evaluate and validate system performance.
• Data Processing: Process raw data into a completed form for analysis by engineers; organize data for review using tools like Excel and CANape.
• Repair/Build Cables and Instruments: Create and repair cables, devices, and instrumentation as needed.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE FOR ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN:

• Prior vehicle test experience is required; ADAS test experience is preferred.
• Experience with data acquisition systems and IT support is beneficial.
• High performance driving experience is preferred.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS FOR ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN:

• Self-motivated to learn, perform, and grow in a dynamic team environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills suitable for a cross-cultural and cross-functional work environment.
• Ability to work overtime and be a team player.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; experience with data acquisition and IT, including software and script development, is preferred.
• Ability to self-manage deadlines and work approximately 20% overtime as needed.
