Fullstack (BE-heavy) Part Time

Location: Bethesda, MD, USA

You will be a part of a small team of Network Engineers working with Cisco routers, switches, and ASA firewalls focused on maximizing the RDT&E network uptime, security, and efficiency.

To qualify, you will need:

1. DOD Top Secret Security Clearance - If you had a clearance in the past 24 months, we may be able to reactivate it
2. One of the following IAT Level III certifications: CISSP, CASP, CCNP Security, CISA, GCED, GCIH, or CCSP
3. Active Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
4. 10 years of networking experience, 3 of which include experience with Cisco in an Ethernet environment.
5. Experience working with Cisco routers, switches, Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) firewalls and COMSEC equipment.
6. Capability to diagnose Tier 3 network problems working with Layer 2 and Layer 3 routing/switching devices.
7. Familiarity with network management tools and experience applying network security best practices.
8. Ability to oversee a project from inception to completion and troubleshoot problems, conduct research and propose new technology solutions.
9. Experience with Cisco Power IDS and familiarity with Splunk.
