Day to Day:
Insight Global is looking for a Senior PLC Programmer to join a leading oil and gas client in Greeley, CO. This candidate will be responsible for programming automation and controls systems involving PLCs and HMIs in an oil and gas field. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to designing, planning, managing, installing, performing start-up, commissioning and related documentation of such automation and control systems. Other duties may include instrumentation calibrations, loop tuning, troubleshooting, communication installations, and SCADA integration. Projects include well-pad installations, commissioning, maintenance, trouble-shooting, compressor stations, salt-water disposals (SWD's), and plants. It's crucial that this individual is a self-starter, reliable and demonstrates a desire to learn while being a great team player. We are looking for a long term fit who wants to stay and grow within this team.
Must Haves:
- 5+ years of PLC programming (Allen Bradley, RSLogix 500, Studio 5000)
- Experience with Allen Bradley Servo Control and VFD Drives
- HMI programming (PanelView, PanelView Plus and RSView)
- At least two-years' experience in an Oil & Gas environment is preferred. Wastewater & manufacturing background could also work.
