The candidate must possess strong development skills in HTML5/TypeScript/React and experience in software design and development more generally, with a focus on delivery. The candidate should demonstrate experience of collaborating within a highly productive team which has successfully delivered projects. Strong communication and problem-solving abilities are essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with the Senior Lead Software Engineer to deliver high-quality software.
  • Key member of a strong, dynamic, focused development team.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
  • Develop and maintain unit tests and automated test suites to ensure software quality and reliability.
  • Utilize GitHub Enterprise for source control and build automation, ensuring smooth and efficient development workflows.
  • Build high-quality frontend solutions including micro-frontends, interoperability, and common components.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions to ensure optimal software performance.
  • Optimize software for scalability, performance, and security.

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Engineering is required, or in lieu, a demonstrated equivalence in work experience.
  • 5+ years’ experience as a software engineer.
  • Strong HTML5, TypeScript and React experience, with understanding of Node, npm, etc.
  • Understanding of JavaScript frameworks, REST APIs, WebSockets and AWS Cloud.
  • Solid understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices.
  • Knowledge of micro-frontend architecture concepts and patterns desirable but not required.
  • Experience in unit testing and mocking.
  • Understanding of web security principles, and authentication and authorization protocols.
  • Experience with Git, build tools, pipelines, code quality technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to adapt and learn new technologies and tools quickly.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work efficiently.
