Strategy Developer - US (Remote) - $150-200k + bonus
We are working with a high-frequency trading firm operating 24/7 in global cryptocurrency markets, with teams across New York, Hong Kong, and more. This company is a key player in the market, trading a significant portion of overall volume and continuously innovating to stay ahead.
Role Overview:
This position focuses on developing and supporting trading strategies in cryptocurrency markets. You'll work closely with a US-based trader, so it's essential to be located in or near a US-compatible timezone. The role is primarily remote, providing flexibility in your location.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Designing, implementing, and optimizing trading and market-making strategies, while managing risk and market obligations.
- Overseeing the full trading process—from identifying opportunities and writing software to ongoing support.
- Developing C++ and Python applications that interact with the firm’s market data and trading platforms.
- Collaborating with business, trading, and development teams.
- Monitoring and ensuring the performance of trading systems from technical, risk, and profit perspectives.
- Contributing to system design, code reviews, and trading idea discussions.
Requirements:
- Experience in developing high-performance trading strategies, particularly for market making in crypto or traditional markets.
- Expertise in low-latency algorithms and portfolio risk management.
- 3+ years of experience with C++ on Linux.
- Strong background in latency-optimized, distributed systems.
- Ability to deliver reliable, clean code while rapidly implementing new features.
- Willingness to provide on-call support for your systems.
Desirable Skills:
- Knowledge of network programming (UDP, TCP, TLS, Websockets).
- Experience with C++ profiling tools (e.g., Cachegrind, Valgrind).
- Experience configuring and monitoring Linux systems.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS).
