Drainage Engineer

Our client is a full-service consulting firm offering planning, engineering, and program management services. Founded in 1935, they have grown from their beginnings as a small Houston firm to a national leader in the heavy civil infrastructure engineering industry.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in engineering from an accredited four-year college or university
• 8+ years’ experience in the field or a related area
• Valid driver’s license
• To understand the concepts of drainage systems, including system layouts and components, floodplain management, TxDOT and City drainage criteria and design preferences.
• Licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE)
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD or Microstation
• Familiarity with ArcGIS, hydrologic modeling (ex. HEC-HMS), and hydraulic modeling (ex. HEC-RAS, Infoworks ICM)
