Position: Full time (Hybrid work available)

Location: Houston, TX

Metric Geo is working with one of the most reputable engineering firms in the US who are looking to expand their team with an experienced Engineer. As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for leading design of mechanical systems for buildings across a variety of sectors including Higher Education, Culture & Performing Arts, Healthcare, K-12, Justice/Civic and Energy

Key Responsibilities:

• Senior design and technical oversight of mechanical design on a variety of project types/scales, with mechanical staff to support design and production
• Regular collaboration with current mechanical department head and office director
• Perform mechanical/HVAC calculations including code research
• Manage mechanical project teams and/or interdisciplinary project teams

Qualifications:

• 7+ years’ relevant mechanical design experience
• Professional Engineering (PE) license is strongly preferred
• Bachelors’ degree in mechanical engineering
• Revit and AutoCAD
